The Baylor Angel Network is operated by Baylor University faculty, staff and students. BAN is part of the Hankamer School of Business and operates at the discretion of Dean Sandeep Mazumder.
Steven Diedrich, Executive Director

Steven Diedrich is the Executive Director of the Baylor Angel Network (BAN). In this role, Steven leads the strategy of the network, including the related Fund management, stakeholder engagement and teaches the Entrepreneurial Finance course at Baylor.
Early in his career Steven worked as a consultant at Accenture and as an associate at Stanmore Partners, a real estate development and investment firm.
Steven earned a Master of Finance from Texas A&M University and was a graduate of the Business Fellows honors program at Baylor University where he holds a BBA in Finance and Economics.
Cate Davis, Associate Director

Cate Davis is the Associate Director of the Baylor Angel Network (BAN). In this role, Cate assists with the operations of the network, including the investment and communications strategies, and operational oversight of BAN’s student analysts.
Cate earned a BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Baylor University and was part of BAN as a student analyst.

Advisory Board
BAN’s board of advisors is tasked with providing insight and guidance on the strategic vision, planning, and operations of the network. Each of our directors is a successful businessperson with decades of experience in the business and start-up arenas. They are significant supporters of Baylor University, the Hankamer School of Business and their respective communities.
